Educator University PD Opportunity Objective:
All full-time employees will identify a collaborative activity (minimum of two people) which involves members participating in an Educator University project. The project must be based on improving student learning and advancing yourself professionally. All professional development must align with at least one of the district priorities and be supported by the Iowa Teaching Standards.

Q: What am I paid for participating?
A: You will be paid your individual per diem rate after completion of 7 hours of learning opportunities to create a full experience. The rate of pay is based on a total of 7 hours of work and half days are not allowed.
Q: Can part time teachers participate?
A: Yes!
Q: Is there a proposal beforehand that I have to turn in?
A: No, you will fill out an exit survey asking you to indicate with learning opportunities you selected. This is a requirement for attendance and payment.
